Frequently Asked Questions
Questions About Helen
- Who is Helen Grace?
Helen Grace is a London-based actress, not to be confused with an '80s Australian television actress, a Californian choclatier, or a Welsh filmmaker of the same name.
- Helen's early educational background doesn't seem very typical for an aspiring actress...?
Helen touches on the subject in an interview she did for this site in January 2002.
- Has she ever modelled professionally, or considered it?
The short answer is no.
- Can she sing or play any musical instruments?
Helen plays the piano. With the kind of self-awareness sadly lacking from most of the musicians in the current Top 40, she describes her singing voice as fine for the shower but not for releasing records.
- Why did she change her surname, and how did she decide on "Grace"?
Her first agent suggested she adopt a different surname to her real one, Scragg, for professional purposes. She chose Grace because it shares most of the same letters but creates a rather different impression.
- Does she smoke?
She gave up several years ago.
- Who is she married to? Has she been out with...? etc etc
Although some of her past interviews briefly allude to whoever she was seeing at that time, Helen generally prefers her private life to stay exactly that way. Her husband is an actor she met after Brookside on a theatre production, and this is about as much as she wants known.
- Can you pass on a message to Helen? / I wrote to her and she hasn't replied. Can you follow it up with her or her agent for me?
Regretably it is not the responsbility of this site to either forward on or chase up messages for Helen. What Helen or her agent choose to do with the letters she receives is up to them.
- I'm trying to contact an actor Helen has worked with. Can you give me a contact address?
Contact information for most UK-based actors and actresses is available - free of charge - through Spotlight Interactive. Typing the actors' name into the relevant search box will give you the address of their agent, through whom you can write to them.
